September Month to Date

And, we're off...

Holy crap its been a crazy start to the new school year.  Football is in full swing, Tom had his 40th class reunion, Jimmy and Tracy did a recruiting visit to Drake and this weekend are doing a Packer/Viking game in Green Bay. Tracy installed No Trespassing signs in McGregor, Kay got grounded for a month (found another vape). Billy's taekwondo season started....not to mention normal things like work, school, yard work, dogs, etc

Whew. I'm tired just thinking about it and its only 1/2 way through the month!

Photo highlights.....

Jimmys 1st game was against Apple Valley (THEY WON!).  We went to the game with Aubrey and Patti. My dad's best friend and major football fan. They live 1 mile from the stadium and it was super fun to have dinner with them and watch the game. They even wore Hopkins gear!

For work, Tracy hosted Ilhan Omar at one of their houses to talk about disability services. She was very respectful and asked great questions.

The 1st day of school was reserved for new kids and 10th graders. The school asked all the clubs to participate and set up a "fair" to talk about their club. Of course Jimmy donned his suit and recruited 13 kids to this conservative club. I was torn between being proud and wanting to trip him.

1st day of school - Billy even let me walk him to the bus and give him a kiss. He had butterflies in his stomach

Last 1st day of high school for seniors, they all wore black

Juniors made a pact not to be photographed on the 1st day

Headed out, Jimmy was nice and gave Kay a ride. She was nice and was ready on time.

Jimmy and Seth talked the whole time at the Drake recruiting game day visit. It poured rain but was fun to see the team in action (they lost)

Training facility

Tracy had to put up No Trespassing signs before duck opener on the McGregor property for work. Never a dull moment in the life of an Executive Director

1st one is up!  The waders looked good and were comfy, but hot and smelly

Dawn helped out a ton !!

Mr Davis, Jimmy's 3rd grade teacher, did his senior pictures.

On the field, get the phone out of your pocket!

Go Hopkins

And at the park

Tom planned and hosted his 40th high school reunion from Benilde St Margaret along with Martha

Knights in the house!
