Merry Christmas all!

It was a low key and delightful Christmas but I was so bummed my parents had to cancel their trip

My mom tripped and fell at Xmas eve service and they were at at the ER for 2 hours .. I consider that a Xmas miracle!  fracture at the top of the ball of the shoulder plus maybe a rotor cuff pull at the back near the shoulder blade. Good news - it is not as bad as they feared- no surgery needed on the shoulder. However, it meant they had to cancel their trip since she now needs to see an orthopedic this week 🀞🏻🀞🏻

Kay was a bit late for presents (planned 11am arrived at noon) but was in a great mood and loved everything she got - whew!

Jimmy was thrilled with his 529 ‘leftover’ gift and now has sons breathing room for his 1st year of law school.

Billy loves his dinosaur sweater and hung out with us at the neighbors for a bit

Pat came for dinner and we all trade stories of Xmas past and replayed the Vikings game

Packers win (just barely) and Vikings lost (so clearly Xmas was ruinedπŸ€ͺ)

Tom out did himself with steak cheesy potatoes great sides, ham turkey… you name it

Hope everyone had a peaceful living and abundant holiday

‘Tis the season for merriment prep and stress

It’s been crazy! Haven’t even got to watch and Christmas movies but are juggling fun, work and all things life.

I flew down to St Louis for the day to surprise Nikki - she’s going thru a clinical trial for leukemia and I haven’t seen her (in person) since may. I surprised her and it was super fun to just hang out with her, her mom and the 4 dogs and 7 cats.

Jimmy and Billy had finals. Billy snuck home to help decorate the tree and Jimmy stayed and extra day to see Colin and Evan graduate - bitter sweet

We saw Trailer Trash with Jim and Jen and Tom got majorly hit on in his Hamms shirt.

Tina S rocked the house with the Ho Ho Ho’s and Wendy Scott and Alexis had a blast and I ran into a dear friend, Andy, from college.

We had a beautiful and mellow night at Simple Gidts with Jim and Jen, quickly becoming a tradition

Even though there wasn’t any snow, we had so much fun with Dan and Ang at our annual Moscow on the Hill night - they are too cute

Tom and Jimmy went to the Christmas Eve Viking lions game and Tracy hosted Wendy and Cate for charcuterie and nachos

Lots going on at both work places, breakfast celebrations, donations and gifts from coworkers and grateful families

All in all, I think we’re ready and making the most of the season.

Peace love joy sleep and good tidings to you and yours

Xoxo
