Tom traveled with Jimmy to drop him off at VMI for fall football camp this year. It was a fun & typical trip. Jimmy has NO clue how to pack or unpack (he forgot to pack a pillow). His friends are amazing and their parents a really special group of people. Teammates baby sat his stuff over the summer and after a bit of tracking things down, he managed to find his laundry bags, hay, etc. (see about about packing).
Of course he "missed" that there was a bunch of medical and insurance paperwork he had to bring to camp so...he was busy late into the night the evening before getting that done. But, managed to "get 'er done".
There was shouts of excitement at seeing friends, bonding lunch and a parent dinner.
The locker room is DECKED out with SoCon Champ motivation and this year will be amazing.
Love you Jimmy, continue to make us proud on ALL aspects of your class 3 year. Whether is football, jazz band, your library job, classes or your corporal position helping rats figure out their academics, we KNOW you'll give it your all. You always do.
