Thought we'd share our favorite photos from the last 3 weeks and the last COVID update. Getting creative on how to stay busy and have fun. Including, some killer take out meals and new recipes from Tom. Also, gotta love our neighbors!! Hope everyone is staying safe and well. Love to you all! XOXOXOXO
Kristin's work friends did a parade for her one day to boost her spirits (Kristin has stage 4 gioblastoma and, while going to get infusions and treatment, hasnt been able to do PT and OT so has physically been deteriorating. But...she still has a wicked sense of humor. We social distance with them a few times a week and try to bring them 1-2 meals a week plus get Craig down to our house for a beer since he's the main caregiver right now.
In April, we bought a state park pass and met with Terry and Mary for a social distance hike each week. Now that it's May, we are doing weekly social distance bike rides. Mary is extremely kind and realized Tracy needed to start training so, even though she'd rather hike, she's biking with us every week.
Kay got out of the house for the 1st time in 3 weeks and was doing back flips in the back yard. Who does that?! Lays in bed for 3 weeks and then does a standing back tuck. Crazy
We bought Kay a clippers and told her we 'd pay her to cut the boys hair, here she and Jimmy are studying up on how to use it.
On mothers day Tracy got to go golfing with her boys. Billy's 1st time and Jimmy's new favorite sport since its the only one he can play. He's getting pretty good and going each day with his youth MN golf pass, $5/round at most courses. he's got it made.
Tracy's favorite breakfast and Mothers day, Rye Bread, Apricot jam and gouda cheese - with coffee, yum.
Celebrating Craig and Kristin with a drive by 26 anniversary party in their driveway. Gerry (Kristin's mom) even wore the outfit she wore at their wedding
