Covid quarantine- our 1st!

The COVID finally got us. Damn Kindergarteners!

2 weeks ago the grade school told anyone that worked with Kindergartens to test as 1/2 of them were out with COVID. Tom and Kay both tested negative and then ... BAM! COVID hit.

2 days later Tom was positive and we banished him to the basement with disinfectant and hand sanitizer.

Tracy lasted 3 days and then test positive so she moved out of Jimmys room and back in with Tom.

One day after that, poor Billy tested positive.

Despite all the horrid germs and a killer stuffy head and cough, Kay tested negative SIX days in a row! In fact, she never did test positive.

COVID is one strange virus.

Both Tom and Tracy got on the COVID "meds" (paxolvid) and symptoms were amazingly better within 24 hours. The only side effects were weird dreams and a horrid taste in your mouth for 5 days straight, like someone sprayed lysol in your mouth.

Billy hardly had any symptoms and once Tom/Tracy felt better, the chores began. (Tracy did work from home full time the whole time on COVID).

Cleaning cupboards, clearing snow, organizing taxes, teaching Billy to cooks, a new netflix show (White Lotus), books to be read, naps to be taken ...we were busy!

We all tested negative last Sunday and are glad to be among the living but felt really productive about our quarantine time.

Its crazy that this is the 1st time any of the 3 of us tested positive. We count our blessings.
