All I can say is "wow". Tom gave me a dog sled yurt trip for Xmas and I LOVED it!. We spent and extra day+ in Isabella to get acclimated. Despite needing to reschedule (Kay's car accident) and Tom's father passing away much more quickly than anticipated, we did manage to carve out some down time in the woods with dogs and snow. (We'll do a proper post for Jeremiah once we get past the wake, funeral, etc).
The pictures dont even do it justice, but I'll try!
If you havent, but have always wanted to, DO IT!
XOXOXO to Tom for his amazing thoughtfulness....

Tom let me do most of the driving. I only tipped him once and then needed to dive for the sled so the dogs didnt run away from us.
Kasha was our guide and a true outdoors woman. Full scale Nat'l Park Ranger next summer at Yosemite!!
Snowed steadily for 48 hours straight and made for great views. Here we were just 2-3 minutes behind a pack of wolves and the dogs were going nuts. Kasha said you dont normally get that close. Yikes.
Cookies and hot chocolate - I think I have on 4 layers of winter clothes. Not a fashion statement but I was never cold!
Knotted Pine. Great people, good pizza and beers. Not to mention a very POPULAR snow mobiling hang out.
the view - the dogs were SO sweet. If they werent running they just wanted to be petted and cuddled.
